During his career, Mr. Shapiro has served as a leader in the healthcare practice of McKinsey & Company and as executive vice president and COO of Geisinger Health System in Danville, Pa.

Paul Ramsey, MD. CEO of UW Medicine (Seattle). Dr. Ramsey heads UW Medicine, which includes the UW School of Medicine, four hospitals, a network of primary care clinics, a large physician practice plan and a fixed wing and helicopter air ambulance service. In addition to his role as CEO, he is executive vice president for medical affairs and dean of the school of medicine at the University of Washington. He has served as the senior executive leader of UW Medicine for nearly 20 years.
