Lisa Allen, PhD. Chief Patient Experience Officer of Johns Hopkins Medicine (Baltimore). Known for her collaborative leadership style, Dr. Allen has 25-plus years of healthcare leadership experience, which she uses to drive a culture of service excellence across Johns Hopkins Medicine. Before becoming the health system's first chief patient experience officer in 2014, Dr. Allen was system vice president for quality, patient experience and patient safety at Boston-based Steward Health Care System, an 11-hospital, community-based ACO. A medical anthropologist by training, Dr. Allen received her PhD from the University of Connecticut in Storrs.
