Laura Forese, MD. Executive Vice President and COO of NewYork-Presbyterian (New York City). As executive vice president and COO, Dr. Forese is responsible for achieving operating targets and implementing strategic vision across NewYork-Presbyterian, including NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, NewYork-Presbyterian Regional Hospital Network, NewYork-Presbyterian Physician Services and NewYork-Presbyterian Population and Community Health, all based in the New York metropolitan area. She came to NewYork-Presbyterian in 2003, initially serving as vice president of medical affairs at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. She has since served in a number of leadership roles, including as CMO of NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital and president of the former NYP Healthcare System. She also served as an associate clinical professor of orthopedic surgery at New York City-based Columbia University.
