Kathy Bailey. President and CEO of Carolinas HealthCare System Blue Ridge (Morgantown, N.C.). Prior to joining Blue Ridge HealthCare System, Ms. Bailey was the inaugural CEO of The Outer Banks Hospital in Nags Head, N.C., where she led design, construction and operations until 2005. Ms. Bailey began her career with Blue Ridge as COO in 2005 and was named president and CEO in January 2013. In addition to her leadership role, she is active in service-based organizations in her local community. Ms. Bailey serves on the Chamber of Commerce board of directors as vice chair of strategic planning, the Burke Development Board, and the Catawba Regional Board for American Red Cross.
