Karen Teitelbaum. President and CEO of Sinai Health System (Chicago). As president and CEO of Sinai Health System, Ms. Teitelbaum is responsible for overseeing four hospitals, two research institutes and a medical group that comprises 18 clinical sites across Chicago. She serves on the boards of the Illinois Hospital Association, Metropolitan Chicago Healthcare Council and Family Health Network. She is a member of the American Hospital Association Task Force on Ensuring Access in Vulnerable Communities and the AHA Council on Maternal Fetal Health. Before becoming CEO, Ms. Teitelbaum served as COO of Sinai Health System as it achieved national recognition in quality while reducing costs by millions of dollars.
