Nancy Vish. RN, PhD. President and CNO of Baylor Heart and Vascular Hospital (Dallas). Dr. Vish has more than 20 years of experience in nursing and management. She first came to the Baylor Health Care System in 1996, first serving as program manager/director of Dallas-based Baylor University Medical Center's cardiac cath lab, EP/PM lab, coronary care unit and interventional cardiology unit. When Baylor launched the for-profit Heart and Vascular Hospital as a joint venture in 2002, Dr. Vish served as its first vice president of clinical operations. She was named president and CNO in 2005. Dr. Vish is a member of the American Association of Critical Care Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Society, Society of Invasive Cardiovascular Professionals and the American College of Cardiovascular Administrators. Dr. Vish earned a master's in nursing as a clinical nurse specialist from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tenn., and a doctorate in nursing from Texas Women's University in Denton.
