Joanne Conroy, MD. CEO of Lahey Hospital & Medical Center (Burlington, Mass.). Dr. Conroy joined Lahey Hospital & Medical Center as CEO in June 2014. Previously, she served as chief healthcare officer for Washington, D.C.-based Association of American Medical Colleges for five-and-a-half years. Her additional experience includes time as CMO, vice president of academic affairs and executive vice president of Atlantic Health System in Florham Park, N.J. Prior to these roles, she held several academic and administrative leadership positions at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. Dr. Conroy is board certified with the American Board of Anesthesiologists and received a certificate of added qualifications in pain management.
