Robert I. Grossman, MD. Dean and CEO of NYU Langone Medical Center (New York). Dr. Grossman, a neuroradiologist with a medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, took the reins at NYU Langone Medical Center in 2007. In this role, he leads the NYU School of Medicine and NYU Hospitals Center, which includes Tisch Hospital, Hospital for Joint Diseases, Hassenfeld Children's Hospital and Rusk Rehabilitation. Dr. Grossman is a renowned scientist, receiving the Javits Neuroscience Investigator Award from the National Institutes of Health in 1999 for his work on multiple sclerosis. In 2004, he was the first person to receive the American Society of Neuroradiology Education and the Research Foundation's Outstanding Contributions in Research Award for his commitment to excellence in clinical neuroscience, and those are just two of several awards he has received through his career.
