Nick Turkal, MD. President and CEO of Aurora Health Care (Milwaukee, Wis.). Dr. Turkal has been president and CEO of Aurora Health Care since 2007. Prior to this appointment, he served in a variety of administrative roles, including CMO, senior vice president and president of the system's metro region. He is a two-time graduate of Creighton University in Omaha, Neb., and was named to the university's board of trustees in September. Dr. Turkal also served as vice president for academic affairs and senior associate dean for the Madison-based University of Wisconsin Medical Center from 1997 to 2001.
