Nancy Howell Agee. President and CEO of Carilion Clinic (Roanoke, Va.). Ms. Agee started her career in healthcare as a nurse at Carilion Clinic and has served in various leadership positions in the $1.5 billion, eight-hospital system ever since. Ms. Agee took the top post in July 2011. In addition to serving as CEO of the system, Ms. Agee is on the board of several organizations, including Roanoke Gas Company, HomeTown Bank, Solstas Lab, Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine, Mill Mountain Theatre and Center in the Square. In January 2016, she will begin serving on the board of trustees of the American Hospital Association.
