Michael Israel. President and CEO of Westchester Medical Center Health Network (Valhalla, N.Y.). Mr. Israel has led this 1,500-bed regional medical system since August 2005. WMCHealth was previously known as Westchester Medical Center. Under his leadership, the system has experienced 10 years of profitability, bond rating improvement, an overhaul of its facilities and a major growth in services. Mr. Israel is also involved on the boards of New York Medical College, the Greater New York Hospital Association, Yale University School of Public Health Leadership Council and the Westchester County Association.
