Kenneth L. Davis, MD. President and CEO of Mount Sinai Health System (New York). Dr. Davis' history with Mount Sinai Health System started when he was just 7 years old, when he had emergency surgery at the hospital. In 1979, after becoming a physician specializing in geriatric psychiatry, Dr. Davis joined the faculty at Mount Sinai, becoming chief of psychiatry at the Bronx Veterans Administration Medical Center. Dr. Davis was appointed dean of Mount Sinai Medical School and president and CEO of Mount Sinai Medical Center in 2003. He became president and CEO of the newly established Mount Sinai Health System in 2013. Dr. Davis is a renowned Alzheimer's researcher and has received several professional honors, including three research awards from the American College of Neuropsychopharmacology, an organization of which he also served as president in 2006.
