Joseph Pepe, MD. President and CEO of Catholic Medical Center Healthcare System (Manchester, N.H.). Dr. Pepe — a board-certified internist — joined Catholic Medical Center as a clinician in 1990 before being made CMO and vice president of medical affairs in 1999. He then became president and CEO of the entire CMC Healthcare System in 2012. In his current position, Dr. Pepe oversees a 330-bed acute care hospital, the New England Heart Institute and several subsidiaries, including physician practices and an ambulatory surgery partnership with 30 surgeons. Additionally, he currently serves on the Manchester Sustainable Access Project to help develop an economically sustainable system of comprehensive, coordinated primary care for the city's most vulnerable populations.
