Gary Gottlieb, MD. President and CEO of Partners HealthCare (Boston). Dr. Gottlieb, a psychiatrist who has published several articles on geriatric psychiatry and healthcare policy, has been in his current role since January 2010. However, he was recruited to Partners in 1998 to be the first chairman of Partners Psychiatry, a role he held through 2005. He has also been president of North Shore Medical Center and Brigham and Women's/Faulkner Hospitals, which are part of Partners. Dr. Gottlieb is active in the Boston community — he has served as chairman of the city's Private Industry Council, a workforce development board, and chairman of the mayor's Task Force to Eliminate Health Disparities.
