Robert Grossman, MD. Dean and CEO of NYU Langone Medical Center (New York City). Dr. Grossman was named the Saul J. Farber Dean and CEO of NYU Langone Medical Center in July 2007. In this role, he oversees both NYU School of Medicine and NYU Langone Health System, which is comprised of the Tisch Hospital, the Hospital for Joint Diseases, Hassenfeld Children's Hospital, NYU Lutheran and Rusk Rehabilitation. Dr. Grossman first joined the system in 2001 as a professor of radiology, chairman of the radiology department and a professor of neurology, physiology and neuroscience. Early in his career at NYU Langone, Dr. Grossman launched a major campus transformation resulting in the addition of 3.3 million square feet of clinical and research space that is set for completion in 2017. He has led the system through numerous achievements, such as the No. 1 ranking in 2015 in the U.S. by the University HealthSystem Consortium for quality and safety among leading academic medical centers for the third consecutive year.
