Mary Alice Annecharico, RN. Senior Vice President and CIO of Henry Ford Health System (Detroit). In December 2011, Henry Ford Health System appointed Ms. Annecharico senior vice president and CIO, responsible for strategic planning and integrated delivery system support. She oversees the six-hospital health system's Project Helios revenue cycle, EHRs, and physician and patient portals as well as IT improvement services. A nurse by training, Ms. Annecharico is engaged in national efforts to create sustainable, secure statewide health information exchanges and served as editor for HIMSS' digital publication, the Journal of Health Information Management.
