Daniel Barchi. CIO of NewYork-Presbyterian (New York City). Mr. Barchi became CIO of NewYork-Presbyterian on Dec. 1, 2015, taking on responsibility for the health system's IT department. He led the rollout of NewYork-Presbyterian's telehealth program in 2016, which allows patients to remotely connect with physicians for video consults and second opinions. Before joining NewYork-Presbyterian, Mr. Barchi was senior vice president and CIO of Yale New Haven (Conn.) Health System and Yale School of Medicine, where he led EMR implementation across three hospitals and launched a secure iPhone application for physician communication. His background also includes time as senior vice president and CIO of Roanoke, Va.-based Carilion Health System.
