Robert Grossman, MD. Dean and CEO of NYU Langone Medical Center (New York City). In his current role as dean and CEO of NYU Langone Medical Center, Dr. Grossman oversees both the NYU School of Medicine and NYU Hospitals Center, comprising Tisch Hospital, The Hospital for Joint Diseases, Hassenfeld Children's Hospital and Rusk Rehabilitation. He initially joined the system in 2001 as a professor of radiology, chairman of the radiology department, and a professor of neurology, neurosurgery, physiology and neuroscience. Dr. Grossman previously served as chief of neuroradiology for the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia and was appointed to the National Institutes of Health's National Advisory Council for Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering. In 2004, Dr. Grossman was the first recipient of the American Society of Neuroradiology Education and the Research Foundation's annual Outstanding Contributions in Research Award, recognizing his lifelong accomplishments and pioneering research in clinical neuroscience.
