Larry Goodman, MD. President and CEO of Rush University Medical Center (Chicago). Prior to his appointment as president and CEO, Dr. Goodman was senior vice president for medical affairs at Rush University Medical Center and the dean of Rush Medical College. He previously served as director of John H. Stroger, Jr., Hospital of Cook County and during the same time was professor of medicine and associate dean of Rush Medical College. Dr. Goodman's medical research has focused on infectious disease and he has worked to promote innovation in medical education. He was presented with the Phoenix Award for Clinical Teacher of the Year from Rush Medical College three times and has served as a team member for the Liaison Committee on Medical Education, a national organization that accredits medical schools.
