John Mazziotta, MD. CEO of UCLA Health and Dean of David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA (Los Angeles). Dr. Mazziotta has been a member of the UCLA faculty since 1983 and prior to his appointment as CEO for UCLA Health, vice chancellor of UCLA Health Sciences and dean of David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, he served as associate vice chancellor for health sciences and executive vice dean of the school of medicine. He has also been chair of the department of neurology and director and founder of the Ahmanson-Lovelace Brain Mapping Center. Dr. Mazziotta has published more than 260 research papers, was elected to the Institute of Medicine of the National Academy of Sciences and is a member of the Royal College of Physicians. His recognitions include the Oldendorf Award from the American Society of Neuroimaging, the S. Weir Mitchell Award and the Wartenburg Prize from the American Academy of Neurology.
