St. Francis Hospital & Medical Center (Hartford, Conn.). With roots dating back to 1897 when the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Chambéry opened a two-room hospital in Hartford, St. Francis Hospital & Medical Center has grown into a regional referral center and major teaching hospital.
