Boston Children's Hospital. Boston Children's Hospital's orthopedic program dates back to 1903. Annually, physicians in the orthopedic program complete about 6,000 surgeries and attend to more than 100,000 patient visits. Various orthopedic conditions are treated through the pediatric orthopedic center, including fractures and sports-related injuries, scoliosis, hip conditions, brachial plexus and cerebral palsy. Boston Children's Hospital was named No. 3 in the nation for pediatric orthopedics by U.S. News & World Report for 2015-16. It also has received Magnet accreditation for nursing excellence.
