Stanford (Calif.) Health Care-Stanford Hospital
The Stanford Cardiovascular Institute, consisting of 124 faculty members, serves as the cardiovascular research hub for Stanford University. U.S. News & World Report ranked Stanford Hospital No. 3 overall in California and No. 15 in the nation for cardiology and heart surgery in its 2016-17 rankings. The hospital earned a high-performing designation for heart failure, bypass and aortic valve surgery in U.S. News & World Report's common care ratings. Stanford hospital also received Magnet recognition from the American Nurses Credentialing Center and is a is a Blue Distinction Center+ for Cardiac Care.
