St. Luke's Hospital (Kansas City, Mo.)
St. Luke's Hospital is home to the St. Luke's Mid America Heart Institute — the only facility in the region that offers a full range of cardiovascular services. St. Luke's Hospital ranked as the No. 2 hospital overall in Missouri and the No. 20 hospital in the nation for cardiology and heart surgery, according to U.S. News & World Report's 2016-17 rankings. In addition, U.S News & World Report listed the hospital as high-performing for heart failure, heart bypass surgery and aortic valve surgery in its common care ratings. The hospital is a Blue Distinction Center+ for Cardiac Care and received Magnet accreditation from the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
