University of Kansas Hospital (Kansas City). The University of Kansas Cancer Center is accredited by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer. U.S. News & World Report ranks KU Hospital among the top 50 programs for cancer care in the nation for 2015-16. The cancer center achieved designation as a Cancer Center by the National Cancer Institute in June 2012 and offers a wide variety of clinical trials. It is affiliated with the Midwest Cancer Alliance.
