Ochsner Medical Center (New Orleans). The Gayle and Tom Benson Cancer Center at Ochsner has been a National Cancer Institute-designated Community Clinical Oncology Program since 1983. The center holds research partnerships with LSU Health Sciences Center and the Louisiana Cancer Consortium and provides cancer screening, treatment and education to more than 2,000 new patients annually.
