Mount Sinai Hospital (New York City). The Tisch Cancer Institute at Icahn School of Medicine was established in 2007, is a National Cancer Institute-designated Cancer Center and plays a key role in the Mount Sinai Health System, one of the largest health systems in the country. The institute receives more than $80 million in research grants annually. U.S. News & World Report ranked Mount Sinai Hospital among the top 50 cancer hospitals in the nation for 2015-16. In 2013, Tisch's gastrointestinal medical oncologists received the Quality Oncology Practice Initiative certification by the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
