Loyola University Medical Center offers cancer care though the Cardinal Bernardin Cancer Center, the first freestanding facility in the state dedicated to cancer research, diagnosis, treatment and prevention. LUMC is a Blue Distinction Center for Complex & Rare Cancers and is home to 52 cancer specialists. Last year, LUMC received the Outstanding Achievement Award from the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer.
