Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center (Washington, D.C.). Established in 1970, the center was the 16th National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center, named in 1974, only four years after opening its doors. The center is a Blue Distinction Center for Complex & Rare Cancers and is affiliated with the OncLive Strategic Alliance Program, a partnership with leading cancer centers and oncology networks that aims to provide clinicians and researchers with the latest information and resources to provide the best cancer care to patients.
