UT Southwestern Medical Center (Dallas). The UT Southwestern neurological surgery department comprises 22 faculty members across several subspecialties. Its neuro-oncology program, which is supported by the Annette G. Strauss Center for Neuro-Oncology, works in concert with the hospital's nationally ranked Harold C. Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center and the department of radiation oncology to deliver superior patient care. More patients receive care from UT Southwestern Medical Center's cerebrovascular program than any other such program in the region. U.S. News & World Report listed UT Southwestern Medical Center among the top 50 hospitals in the nation for neurology and neurosurgery for 2017-18.
