Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital (Greensboro, N.C.). Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital, the flagship facility of Cone Health, a six-hospital nonprofit health system, is home to the Cone Health Neurosciences Center of Excellence, which employs 12 board-certified neurosurgeons who cover a wide variety of neurological disorders, including Parkinson's disease and stroke care. In fiscal year 2017, the hospital's multidisciplinary stroke team saw more than 1,200 patients and earned the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association's Get With The Guidelines — Stroke Gold Plus Achievement Award. Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital also houses a robust spine surgery program that earned Blue Cross Blue Shield's Blue Distinction Center+ designation for spine surgery, and CareChex ranked the hospital No. 9 in the nation for spine surgery in 2018.
