Carolinas Medical Center (Charlotte, N.C.).Carolinas Medical Center, the flagship hospital of Charlotte, N.C.-based Carolinas HealthCare System, serves as the region's only Level 1 trauma center and as one of the state's five academic medical center teaching hospitals. The hospital offers an array of orthopedic procedures, including a pediatric orthopedic division with six locations across the state. CMC also offers external and internal limb-lengthening services for patients affected by orthopedic trauma or infection.
