Via Christi Hospital St. Francis features the region's only 24/7 neuro-interventional center and has held Joint Commission certification as a Primary Stroke Center since December 2005. Healthgrades has also recognized the stroke program at St. Francis, giving the hospital the America's 100 Best Hospitals for Stroke Care Award for the last three years. Additionally, the hospital has earned the Cranial Neurosurgery Excellence Award and the Neurosciences Excellence Award each year since 2014.
