St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center (Phoenix). St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center is part of Dignity Health and is home to the Barrow Neurological Institute, which was founded in 1962. The Barrow Neurological Institute is housed in a 430,000-square-foot tower, and more than 100 dedicated neurology and neurosurgery subspecialists call Barrow home. They have treated patients from all 50 states and more than 50 countries. U.S. News & World Report has recognized the hospital for excellence in neurology, ranking it as the No. 21 hospital in the nation for neurology and neurosurgery in its 2015-16 rankings. St. Joseph's is also a Blue Distinction Center for Spine Surgery.
