The Magnet-recognized hospital was ranked in the top 50 nationally in both neurological care and neurosurgery in CareChex's most recent rankings, and U.S. News & World Report named it as high-performing in neurology and neurosurgery for 2015-16. Not only do clinicians at the hospital treat patients, the hospital is also heavily involved in neuroscience research: MUSC dedicated the Zucker Institute for Applied Neurosciences in November.
