Mount Sinai Hospital, which is Magnet-recognized for nursing excellence, is ranked as the No. 14 hospital in the nation for neurology and neurosurgery in U.S. News & World Report's 2015-16 rankings. Nestled under its Department of Neurology are several centers and programs with various specialties and focuses, including multiple sclerosis, epilepsy and Parkinson's disease, among others.
