Florida Hospital Orlando. Florida Hospital's Neuroscience Institute was formed in 1998 and is where the hospital treats patients suffering from brain, spine or nervous system disorders. The Neuroscience Institute has a team of more than 80 physicians and, in December 2014, the institute was named a Level 4 Epilepsy Center — the highest designation — by the National Association of Epilepsy Centers. Not only is Florida Hospital Orlando a Blue Distinction Center for Spine Surgery, U.S. News & World Report ranked it as the No. 38 hospital in the nation for neurology and neurosurgery for 2015-16.
