Children's National Medical Center (Washington, D.C.). Children's National Medical Center has more than 30 pediatric neurologists who are part of the largest pediatric neuroscience team in the country. The neurology division at Children's National sees roughly 2,500 patients annually. U.S. News & World Report ranked this children's hospital No. 4 in the nation for pediatric neurology and neurosurgery for 2015-16. The hospital boasts the Gregory Mark Taubin Neuro Intensive Care Unit, which is associated with the division of neurology and is the only dedicated pediatric neuro ICU in the District of Columbia region.
