Cedars-Sinai Medical Center's Neurosurgery Department encompasses several specialty centers and programs, including a brain tumor center, a pituitary center and a neurovascular center. The hospital's neurosurgery department was established in 1997 and has helped Cedars-Sinai earn national recognition, as U.S. News & World Report ranked it as the No. 18 hospital in the nation for neurology and neurosurgery for 2015-16. The hospital is also well-respected for spine surgery, as it is a Blue Distinction Center for Spine Surgery.
