Beaumont Hospital-Royal Oak (Mich.). U.S. News and World Report ranked Beaumont Hospital-Royal Oak No. 25 in the nation for neurology and neurosurgery for 2015-16. The hospital is home to a new $22 million neuroscience center that offers 11 hospital-based clinics specializing in various neurological conditions. Among the center's features are video-wired conference rooms, advanced electroencephalography equipment to record the brain's electrical activity, Craniofacial rooms and a high-tech audiology booth. Beaumont Hospital-Royal Oak was ranked No. 84 in the nation by CareChex for neurological surgery in 2015, and is also recognized as a Blue Distinction Center+ for Spine Surgery. For the past three years, Healthgrades has recognized the hospital as one of the nation's top 100 hospitals for stroke care. Beaumont Hospital-Royal Oak, a Magnet-designated facility, also received Healthgrades' Neurosciences Excellence Award in 2016, 2015 and 2014.
