Stanford (Calif.) Health Care. Stanford Health Care includes a heart program tailored specifically for women that currently has openings in 11 clinical trials. The health system's gynecology clinic, which U.S. News & World Report ranked No. 7 in the nation for gynecology in 2017-18, offers ultrasound and cryosurgery to treat a range of conditions. Stanford also offers a comprehensive breast cancer program where specialists take a team-based approach to treating breast cancer patients. The health system currently has 26 open clinical trials, giving breast cancer patients access to cutting-edge devices, medical approaches and treatment. Stanford Women's Care Center is part of the Stanford Comprehensive Cancer Institute, which is one of 45 centers in the nation to receive the National Cancer Institute's Comprehensive Cancer Center designation.
