Patrick Courneya, MD. Executive Vice President of Hospitals, Quality and Care Delivery Excellence and CMO of Kaiser Foundation Hospitals and Health Plan (Oakland, Calif.). As CMO of Kaiser Foundation Hospitals and Health Plan, Dr. Courneya oversees Kaiser Permanente's national quality agenda, helps ensure the organization's members receive quality care, and advocates for the advancement of evidence-based medicine. Prior to his current role, Dr. Courneya spent 10 years as medical director of HealthPartners Health Plan. With more than 25 years of clinical experience, Dr. Courneya is a former chair of America's Health Insurance Plans' CMO leadership council.
