University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center (Houston). MD Anderson's Nellie B. Connally Breast Center is one of the largest in the nation, as clinicians there treat 40,000 patients every year. The center houses an extensive team of oncologists and surgeons who examine the genetic makeup of each patient's breast cancer tumor to determine the most effective, least invasive treatment method. The hospital earned the No. 9 spot on U.S. News & World Report's 2016-17 ranking of the top 50 hospitals in the nation for gynecology.
