Stanford (Calif.) Health Care-Stanford Hospital. The Stanford Women's Cancer Center provides comprehensive care for women with breast and gynecologic cancers. The center also contains a fertility preservation program where cancer patients can freeze oocytes, embryos, ovarian tissue and sperm to preserve the chance of having children. Stanford Health Care earned the No. 8 spot on the U.S. News & World Report ranking of top 50 hospitals in the nation for gynecology for 2016-17.
