John Muir Medical Center is one of four institutions in the nation that the National Consortium of Breast Cancers recognizes as a Certified Quality Breast Center of Excellence. The American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer has accredited the breast cancer program since 2010. In addition, Women's Choice Award named the hospital among the best breast centers in America this year. John Muir was ranked No. 25 hospital in the nation for gynecology by U.S. News & World Report for 2016-17, and CareChex ranked the hospital among the top 20 hospitals in California for women's health for 2017.
