Aspirus Wausau (Wis.) Hospital. The 325-bed Aspirus Wausau Hospital is the flagship hospital of Wausau-based Aspirus network and houses a neonatal intensive care unit with a private care room model for critically ill babies. Aspirus offers digital mammography and breast MRI to detect breast cancer, and its mastectomy boutique offers breast prostheses and fittings. This year, the Magnet-designated hospital was named one of America's best breast centers by Women's Choice Award. It has also earned Healthgrades' Labor and Delivery Excellence Award and Obstetrics and Gynecology Excellence Award for the past two years.
