Advocate Christ Medical Center (Oak Lawn, Ill.). Operating under Downers Grove, Ill.-based Advocate Health Care, Advocate Christ Medical Center boasts a spectrum of comprehensive women's care programs and works in partnership with the University of Illinois at Chicago to treat gynecological cancer. The nonprofit teaching hospital houses the Advocate Christ Center for Breast Care and accommodates births for more than 4,000 women annually, the second largest in the Chicago area. U.S. News & World Report ranked the 749-bed Advocate Christ Medical Center No. 33 in the nation for gynecology.
