Lancaster General Hospital is home to the Lancaster General Health Orthopedic Center, where services include diagnosis, surgery, rehabilitation and emotional support. The hospital offers total joint replacement and is a Blue Distinction Center for knee and hip replacement. The Orthopedic Center offers outpatient services through its Suburban Outpatient Pavilion and Duke Street Day Surgery location. The center includes a Geriatric Fracture Program, the first of its kind in the region, which focuses on curbing the negative effects of geriatric bone fractures and early risk detection. Lancaster General was named one of the top 50 hospitals in the country for orthopedics by U.S. News & World Report for 2014-15.
