Masonic Cancer Center, part of the University of Minnesota's Academic Health Center, has held National Cancer Institute designation as a comprehensive cancer center since 1998. More than 500 experts in multiple disciplines across the university collaborate to care for cancer patients. U.S. News & World Report ranked the University of Minnesota Medical Center among the top 50 hospitals for cancer care across the country in 2017-18.
