University of California, Davis Medical Center (Sacramento). UC Davis Medical Center is home to UC Davis Cancer Care Network, a National Cancer Institute-designated comprehensive cancer center. UC Davis launched the UC Davis Cancer Care Network in 1999 in partnership with local community cancer centers, which have expanded to include formal clinical connections and access to clinical trials. The center's teams of specialists have expertise in eight clinical specialties, including stem cell transplants and a hereditary cancer program. U.S. News & World Report ranked UC Davis among the top 50 cancer programs in the nation for 2017-18.
